POOL GUARD PROTECTS PRECIOUS LIVES WITH THE MOST RELIABLE POOL SAFETY FENCES, NETS AND POOL ENTRY ALARMS…..

According to Government Drowning Statistics, accidental drowning is the number one cause of accidental death for children under the age of 5 in California, Arizona and Florida. You can find valuable information on swimming pool safety at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Layers of protection are the only way to protect from accidental drowning.  There is no substitution for adult supervision.  When supervision is combined with a pool barrier the risk of accidental drowning is virtually diminished.

If you think that you know about child pool safety then take this pool safety quiz!

The American Red Cross also offers great information about child water safety.

POOL FENCES

Pool fences, commonly known as a pool safety fencing, swimming pool fences, baby gates or pool barriers for swimming pools.  These are the best forms of a 'passive protection babysitter' any home can have. Installing removable mesh fencing can be a child lifesaver by protecting against accidental drowning of children, toddlers, baby and even pets. The relevance is obvious; a baby or toddler is most susceptible to drowning if no safety pool barrier is there to prevent them from falling in. Swimming-pool baby gates should have a gate latch (gate lock), preferably a self locking gate lock mechanism and be up to your local building code. Removable mesh fencing can be temporary, is nearly transparent, protects your swimming pool better than an electronic alarm, and with aluminum construction, will be maintenance free for years.

POOL SAFETY NETS

Pool Nets, commonly known as a safety nets or pool safety covers.  These specially designed nets cover the pool with an extremely tight mesh barrier which allows for no entry into pool.  Each pool net is custom cut and designed for each individual’s pool.  The net is secured with flush mount anchors, approximately the size of quarter, installed roughly 12 to 18 inches off the pool edge and 16 to 24 inches apart.  The net is easily stored on a PVC roller.  When a pool safety net is installed correctly, it has a 100% success rate on preventing pool drowning.

DOOR AND WINDOW ENTRY POOL ALARMS

Pool Alarms are used on any entry allowing access to the pool area.  All doors and windows should be equipped with a pool alarm with immediately is set off when a door or window is opened into the pool area.  These alarms should have a bi-pass button to allow adults to enter and exit the house.  These bi-pass button should reset the alarms 11 seconds after entry is opened.
